Our Beliefs
God created a perfect world, in which humanity rightly worshipped God, cared for the world, and loved each other. We rebelled against God by worshipping idols, abusing the world, and mistreating each other. God is judging sin right now, but patiently holds back the full outpouring of his wrath. He is not content to permit mankind to simply rebel and be punished; because of his love he sent his Son Jesus into the world to model right worship to God his Father, care for the world and love people. After living this perfect life Jesus died on behalf of all those who would believe in him. He took our place. Not only did he die in our place in order to take on the punishment we deserved, but three days after he was buried he rose from the grave, proving that he had conquered sin, Satan, and the consequences of our rebellion against God. We can continue to worship idols, abuse the world and each other, and face God’s judgment. Or we can turn from our rebellion and embrace God’s love, believe in Jesus' death and resurrection on our behalf, and turn our lives over to him as the Risen King. We hope and pray that you turn and believe, because if you do then you own God's promise of abundant and eternal life.
